Greystanes Southern Employment Lands

Council has made submissions to the Government expressing its concerns about the proposed road through the old Boral quarry known as the Southern Employment Lands (near Pemulwuy) which will link the industrial areas of Wetherill Park (in the south) with Prospect and Blacktown (in the north).

Councils submissions recommend against the realigning of the southern link road away from the Prospect Arterial corridor to Widemere Road and Davis Road and for this new link road to be raised above the floodplain of Prospect Creek, which is considered a high hazard flood precinct.
