On-Street Parking

Street parking restrictions not only provide road safety but also convenience for shoppers looking for a time restricted parking spot. This helps the economic viability of businesses in commercial areas who want their customers to find convenient parking when they need it.

Residents who live within the restricted parking scheme areas in Parramatta, Mays Hill, Westmead and Pendle Hill can apply for free parking permits to allow them to park in restricted areas near their residence. Download the conditions and then complete the Parramatta Parking Scheme Form, Mays Hill Parking Scheme Form, Westmead Parking Scheme Form or the Pendle Hill Parking Scheme Form.

Holroyd's Parking Patrol Officers will be thorough in carrying out their duties so it is important that all drivers parking in restricted areas observe the restrictions given on kerbside signs or they unfortunately will be required to pay the applicable fine.

Holroyd Council has four Parking Patrol Officers in the City to patrol the business districts of the City and importantly, for the safety of our children, the restricted parking zones around schools.
