How to Have Your Say
Holroyd City Council provides a range of ways for local residents to get involved in local decision-making, give their view on important matters and issues, and keep informed on local news, events and initiatives. From opening Council Meetings to the public and notifying all items on public exhibition, to posting the latest on Facebook and surveys on our website, we are committed to keeping the community engaged.
Attend Council Meetings
Ordinary Council Meetings are held from 6.30pm on the first and third Tuesday of every month in the Council Chambers at 16 Memorial Avenue, Merrylands. In addition to Ordinary Council the following Committees are normally considered by Council on the first and third Tuesdays: Development and Community Services; Finance and Works; Holroyd Traffic. These meetings are open to the public and all members of the community are welcome.

Comment on an Item on Exhibition
Holroyd City Council understands the importance of consulting with the community on issues that affect them. This is why a number of major city plans, such as the Local Environmental Plan (LEP), and community plans, such as Community Strategic Plan (CSP), are placed on public exhibition.
To find out what items are on exhibition, look at Holroyd City Council’s section of the Parramatta Advertiser and Holroyd Sun or visit the Public Exhibitions page of this section.
