PetFest 2013
To be held on Sunday 8 September 2013 from 11am to 3pm at the exquisite Holroyd Gardens in Merrylands, PetFest is the place to be for kids, teenagers, parents, aunties, uncles, grandparents… Oh, and their pets.
This much-loved event will be headlined by an incredible horse show in the main arena. You will surely be amazed as horses dance around fire and perform tricks and pulsating stunts with their brave riders. And for an unsuspecting finale, miniature ponies just wee high will make you melt.
Hosted by popular television personality and renowned dog trainer, Steve Austin, PetFest offers a jam-packed program including exciting Jack Russell races, stunning Collie show and the thrilling FlyBall competition.
For an up-close and personal experience with the creepy, crawly or quirky, see the impressive Australian Wildlife Display with its array of snakes, crocks, lizards, turtles, frogs and spiders.
For education on how to best care for your companions or to just spoil them with food, treats and accessories, see the wide variety of pet product and services stalls.
Kids will be sure to love the free pony rides, hands-on animal farm and range of activities especially designed for their enjoyment.
For those who would prefer to sit back and enjoy the beautiful surrounds, the free horse and carriage will be sure to please.
