If you see a light in a park or reserve that needs fixing please call Council's engineering department on 9840 9886. 

The maintenance and repair of lighting in parks and reserves is carried out by either Integral Energy or Council, depending on the particular park and type of light involved.

New Lighting

Requests for additional lighting in parks and reserves must be made in writing and contain the following information:

• Accurate location where the requested lighting is required
• Details supporting the request for the lighting

The request will be investigated by Council staff, in consultation with Integral Energy, and you will be advised of the outcome in writing. If additional information/identification is required you will be contacted by telephone by the investigating officer.

Decisions on new lighting will be based on the Australian Standard for street lighting and on a priority needs basis in accordance with available funds.
