Regional and Local Community Infrastructure Program Funding

The Australian Government under the Regional and Local Community Infrastructure Program (RLCIP) has allocated $250 million to Local Government to stimulate additional growth and economic activity across Australia as part of the Australian Government's contribution to addressing the global economic crisis. Council has been advised that it has been allocated funding of $479,000 from this program.

The projects nominated by Council and approved by the Australian Government are:

Council's program of works was submitted to the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government on 21 January 2009. All projects must be completed and funds expended by 30 September 2009.
