Residential Garbage Service

Every residential property in the Holroyd area is entitled to a garbage and recycling service with a weekly and fortnightly collection respectively. Bin sizes and allocation for both the garbage and recycling service vary depending on the type of residential property.

Council encourages all residents to dispose of materials correctly to maximise the use of recycling bins provided and assist in reducing landfill.

All bins should be placed on the nature strip the night prior to the allocated collection day. The bin should be placed in an area that is clear from overhanging branches and other obstacles and positioned so that the handles face your property.

All bins should be removed from the nature strip as soon as possible after emptying by Council. The annual cost of this service is $243.65. If the land is vacant an administration fee of $195.35 will apply.
