Filming 

Anyone can lodge a proposal for a filming project, detailing the project, location and insurance details. Community notification and fees may be applicable.

Fireworks

To hold a fireworks display on Council controlled land you must first obtain Council permission before making application to WorkCover for the necessary permit.

Applications to Council must be:

  • In writing
  • Accompanied by a Public Liability Insurance Policy with a minimum $10m indemnity with Holroyd City Council nominated as an interested party

Authority to use Council controlled land for a fireworks display will only be issued for community events subject to the applicant obtaining the necessary permit from WorkCover and following the instructions contained in the permit.

No fireworks display can be carried out during a fire ban.
