Guildford Youth Services 

The Guildford Youth Services (GYS) is a generalist youth service that provides activities and programs for young people aged between 12 and 18, and offer support to young people aged between 18 and 25 years, who live, study or work in, or frequent, Guildford and its surrounding areas.

GYS occupies a shop front office space at 367 Guildford Road West, Guildford where young people can obtain information, support and referrals regarding many youth issues.

Homework Support 

If you are in Year 7, 8 or 9 then we can help you with your homework for free.

Come to GYS on Monday between 3.30pm and 5.30pm for:

• a quiet place to do homework
• qualified tutoring and assistance with any subject and assignment
  
• study resources
  
• computer, word processing and internet access
• printing, photocopying or faxing 

GYS runs a number of programs focusing on educational, recreational, cultural arts and living skills. Other programs include youth week, programs in local high schools, festivals and cultural events.

GYS also run school holiday programs which are usually free or at a minimal cost. Every school holidays young people can attend activities such as go kart racing, ice skating, sports, horse riding, performances, pool competitions, rock climbing and arts and music workshops.

There are currently 2 staff members at GYS. Both staff are actively involved in organising, implementing and supervising the various programs and activities run by the service.
