Council employs a team of four youth workers.
- Youth Team Leader
- Centre Based Youth Worker (Wentworthville)
- Outreach Youth Worker
- Centre Based Youth Worker (Guildford)
Some of the Youth Team Leader's responsibilities include:
- Facilitating effective communication across Council’s youth services
- Co-ordinate, plan and implement youth week activities
- Encourage participation
- Development of programs and projects for young people
This position provides information, referral, advocacy and support to Council youth workers, local youth services, young people aged 12 to 25 years, the general community, high schools and government and non-government organisations.
