The Community Builder Grants Program is a State Government funding program administered through NSW Community Services. Funding is available for innovative projects that aim to build strength and capacity within communities.
The aim of the Community Builders Grants Program is to provide funding for innovative projects and partnerships, which focus on building community capacity and improving social and community infrastructure. This will be achieved by funding locally initiated strategic projects, which deliver community-strengthening outcomes and address local, regional and Government priorities.
To support organisations with funding, Council’s Community Projects Officer will provide relevant information on the new funding program and provide information on local needs, priorities and consultation outcomes that may assist with project development.
The funding round is scheduled to open 9am Monday 1 November 2010 and will close mid December 2010. For more information, the guidelines, and the online application visit Community Builders.
