Formerly the Clubs for Holroyd Community Development Support Expenditure (CDSE) Scheme

The ClubGRANTS Scheme is a community development funding program sponsored by local clubs and administered by Holroyd City Council.

This scheme enables registered clubs with an annual gaming machine revenue exceeding $1 million to apply 1.85% of their gaming machine revenue to specific community development and support projects.

For 2012, a further .04% of gaming machine revenue will be paid quarterly into a state-wide pool known as the ClubGRANTS Fund for large-scale projects associated with sport, health and community infrastructure.

Participating Clubs in the Holroyd area are:

Each year the Clubs for Holroyd local committee seeks to address the priorities for ClubGRANTS expenditure defined as 'Category 1'  and to meet the outcomes identified in the Holroyd City 2010-2012 Social Plan.

Recommendations are then made to participating local clubs to fund those projects that most effectively meet these priorities.

Holroyd City Council coordinates this scheme in the Holroyd LGA.

Category 1 Priorities.

Category 1 priorities cover the areas of: Community Welfare and Social Services; Community Development; Community Health Services and Employment Assistance Activities. Application for other forms of assistance (Category 2 grants), are dealt with directly by local clubs.

Holroyd City Social Plan Priorities.

The Holroyd City Social Plan outlines local priorities under (6) broad themes. A summary of these themes can be found here.

Your project must address at least one of these listed priorities. Reference to the plan is sought in the application.

For further information on the ClubGRANTS Scheme contact Council's Community Projects Officer Phil Scott on 02 9840 9910 or visit www.clubsnsw.com.au.

ClubGRANTS Guidelines have been developed by the Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing and are available here.

You must be familiar with these guidelines and the Holroyd Social Plan before completing your application form.
