State Environmental Planning Policies

The NSW Government contributes to shaping the way development occurs within the City of Holroyd, primarily through State Environmental Planning Policies (SEPPs).

These policies are prepared by the State Government with the NSW Minister for Planning having broad discretion as to what they can contain, relate to and require. 

Council is legally bound to follow the requirements of these plans where applicable to the Holroyd Local Government Area.

The Department of Planning has provided a list of current SEPPs and REPs (which are now deemed SEPPs).
